Admissions to Reception - September 2026

In Oxfordshire all children are now admitted to start school in September of the school year they will become 5. Our admission number is 30 children.

To apply for a school place, please refer to our Admissions Policy and complete the admissions form in the Autumn before your child is due to start. Visits are welcome—contact the school office to book an appointment. Nursery attendance does not guarantee a primary school place; a separate application is required.

Key dates for applications for starting Reception in September 2026

4 November 2025   Applications open.

15 January 2026      Closing date for applications.

30 January 2026      Last date for confirmation of change of address.

16 April 2026          National Offer day: offer letters sent by second-class post where needed and emails sent to those  who applied online.

30 April 2026          Closing date to respond to offers made on 16 April and to join waiting list.

September 2026    Start of the school year.

Transferring and moving schools in year

Children are, of course, welcome to join us at any stage in their primary school career. An experienced staff team and friendly children ease the time of transfer from one school to another for your child. If you are looking to change schools, please make sure that you have spoken to your child's current head teacher prior to your visit. We will arrange some 'ice breaker' days so that your child has a smooth transition into the school. If you would like your child to attend our school, please contact the school office to check if we have spaces and also to arrange a visit to the school.

Current Availability

Over the last five years the school has grown from 85 to over 190 pupils, and is set to grow even further in the future.  Due to the small class structure that we have in place to accommodate this growth we do have limited spaces in some year groups in KS1 and KS2. Please do contact the school for further details.
